Estimation too often remains the step that slows everything else down: we measure, we recount, we copy, we doubt, when these tasks should be automatic. In electricity, this is even more true: every circuit, every cable length, and every path must be drawn and calculated by hand, plan by plan.
In this eighth webinar of the Estimai series, we returned to where it all began: the electrical plan. The very first webinar in the series, presented in December 2025, focused on this area of expertise. The platform has evolved considerably since then, and it was time for a complete update.
We primarily launched a new feature: PromptCable, which generates cable trays using artificial intelligence. From the floor plan, the tool traces cable routes and calculates their lengths, a step that previously required hours of manual measurement. We demonstrated its operation on a practical floor plan, showed what the tool can currently do in electrical applications, from reading plans to detecting electrical symbols, and provided an update on the platform's future developments.
The objective remains the same across the different trades we are adding: that AI takes over the repetitive work, so that the estimator can intervene where their judgment really counts.
